Josie was a rescue Belgian Malinois — the kind of dog who changed the room the moment she walked in. Loyal beyond measure. Brilliant beyond words. Stubborn in the way only the best operatives are, and hilarious in the way only the most loved dogs dare to be.
She lived an extraordinary adventure life — 15 years of trails, training, and a bond that words were never built to hold. On February 6, 2026, our soulmate crossed the rainbow bridge. She took a piece of us with her, and left a legacy that refuses to fade.
This channel is a tribute. Every cold case Josie "cracks" on screen is a celebration of the spirit, courage, and heart she carried through every single day of her journey. She was the world's most elite K9 operative — and our family.

Josie the K9 detective is a fictional character created for this series. The real Josie, however, is a true Belgian Malinois rescue from the Woof Rescue Project — lovingly fostered by Aida of PawsitivelyGood K9. Her Forever Home Parents — Robert and Jamie.
